Financial Support for underrepresented skaters

HBCUs and Collegiate Skating Support

At Diversify Ice, we are passionate about fostering diversity and inclusivity within the world of figure skating. Our mission extends to collaborating with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other minority-serving institutions to cultivate competitive skaters at the collegiate level.

Over the past year, we have been instrumental in the creation of the inaugural HBCU skating club, paving the way for their participation in the USFS intercollegiate series. Our commitment to promoting intercollegiate figure skating among underrepresented groups remains unwavering.

If you’re part of a minority-serving institution or affiliated with organizations such as your Black Student Union (BSU) or other minority clubs, we invite you to engage with us. Together, we can explore partnership opportunities and organize events in your area, creating a more inclusive landscape for aspiring skaters.

Diversify Ice is dedicated to catalyzing competitive skating opportunities at all levels, and we eagerly anticipate the growth of more HBCU and minority-focused skating teams in the near future. Join us in our journey to broaden access and representation in collegiate figure skating.”
