Come learn to skate, watch local skaters and Olympians, win prizes, and help support minority skaters!

RSVP now for Diversify Ice’s upcoming SkateRaiser in person or virtually. During the SkateRaiser, there will be performances from rising champions in figure skating, community Learn-to-Skate opportunities, panel discussions, live music, dance classes, art exhibits, and giveaways. 

Early bird ticket prices start as low as $25 and additional discounts may be available in some cases

So join us on Saturday February 18th from 1-3 pm PST for the SkateRaiser featuring Olympian, Tai Babilonia, National and International Champions. Also, look out for performances from our rising skaters.

Date: Saturday, February 18 (MAIN EVENT)

Main Event Time: 1-3pm PST

Ticket Prices: Starting at $25 for each night (Discounts available in some instances)

FRIDAY, Feb 17th Schedule (Skaters participating in the on-ice Friday night session is for competitive skaters only) Open to the public for viewing

Skaters attending the Friday night activities should have some skating experience at  the Juvenile level or higher. Skaters may bring their competition music for critiques.

  • 5:15 pm – 5:30 pm – Skaters Warm-up off-ice (Off-ice/ upstairs room)
  • 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm – On-ice critiques from Olympian Tai Babilonia & Rohene Ward and more (Rink C) 
  • 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Dance Class (Off-ice/ upstairs room) 2 classes by: Sky Beat Dance  & Jasmine Ford

SATURDAY, Feb 18th Schedule 

  • 11:00 am- 11:30 am – History of Mabel Fairbanks and other skating trailblazers – (Upstairs Room)
  • 11:30 am-12:00 pm – Panel Discussion/ Q&A to skaters (Upstairs Room) *Both will be fireside chat style
  • 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm **********Visit our sponsors/ vendors and get skates**********
  • 1:00 pm -1:15 pm – Live Skating Performances *Group A (Rink A)
  • 1:15 pm- 1:45 pm – Teach all ages/ levels How to ice skate “Learn to Skate” (Rink A)
  • 2:00 pm- 2:15 pm – Live Skating Performances *Group B + Live Singer  (Rink A)
  • 2:15 pm- 2:30 pm – Public Skate/ Learn How to ice skate from Diversify Ice coaches (Rink A)
  • 2:30 pm -3:00 pm – Closing Remarks/ Prizes (Rink A)
 

Supplemental activities

  • On-ice seminar critique class led by Olympian Tai Babilonia, Rohene Ward, Nathan Truesdell, etc., geared for competitive skaters, will be held on Friday evening, February 17th. The seminar ticket can also be purchased at the link and is open to any and all competitive skaters of all levels with their own skates. Skaters may also bring their competitive music and programs for a critique.
  • Educational story of skating trailblazer Mabel Fairbanks and other skaters will be free to the public
  •  Panel Discussion with Diversify Ice Ambassadors will be free to the public
